Registration by Reciprocity

Reciprocal registration is permitted when the applicant holds current registration in good standing in another jurisdiction and is Certified by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards. Such registration also requires that the initial registration must have been granted under laws equivalent to those of the state of Ohio at the time of original licensure. Seldom is that a problem as most registration boards have followed a uniform set of registration guidelines for many years similar to those adopted by CLARB.

You may download the materials for applying to sit for the registration examination below. It is recommended that you download all forms and instructions. You will need to read the laws and rules that can be read on-line or downloaded. Please follow the instructions carefully in preparing your application. The application is to be mailed directly to the office of the Board. To request that your Council Record be transmitted to the Ohio Board, contact CLARB at http://www.CLARB.org
