Reinstatement of Registration

If your registration expired prior to October 31, 2003, you must apply for reinstatement of your registration. All prior year fees and penalties, up to a maximum of $500, must be included with the reinstatement application. Call or email the Board office to find out the correct reinstatement fee.

Depending upon the circumstances and length of time that your license was lapsed, please be aware that the Board may impose fines or additional requirements prior to reinstatement. Proof of completion of the continuing education requirement (24 hours) may be required.

Your reinstatement application will have an initial review by the Executive Director. Further review by the Board may required and will take place at the next Board meeting. The Board may ask you to attend the Board meeting. For the date of the next Board meeting, see the Calendar.

While your application for reinstatement is pending, you may not practice landscape architecture or seal drawings, or use the title "Landscape Architect" in the state of Ohio.
