Application for Licensure

Apply for an individual or firm license

All license applications are made online via the electronic portal at https://elicense.ohio.gov.

All licensure candidates must apply online at Ohio's elicense system. This online, cloud-based licensing system is fully remote, allowing candidates to both apply online and receive electronic licenses and communications via email. Simply create an account and then submit the application, paying by mastercard or visa. If you need help creating your account or completing an application, you can contact the eLicense Help Desk for assistance. The Help Desk is available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM by calling 855-405-5514.

Once all required documentation has been received, applications are usually approved within days.
